El cuarto volumen contiene dos índices: uno de documentos y otro de nombres.\r\nLa mayor parte de los textos se tomaron de los diarios Excélsior y El Día. El resto, del número 12 de la revista Historia y Sociedad y de La Gaceta, boletín informativo del Comité Coordinador de Huelga de la UNAM y del Consejo nacional de Huelga. Se incluyeron también algunos que circularon en forma de volantes y unas cuantas reseñas periodísticas de conferencias de prensa que aportan información útil para la comprensión de la actitud de algunos grupos políticos.\r\nLa mayoría de los escritos se transcribieron íntegramente.
